We went through a hot spell last week in Melbourne, so I made the most of it and drove down the Mornington Peninsula with Raf and a mate.
I’ve heard about this place locals call the ‘Blairgowrie Cliff Jumps’ and the ‘Blairgowrie Rockpools’ for years, but never actually thought about questioning where exactly it was. I actually coincidentally stumbled upon this gem while I was searching for points of interest on Google Maps.
Mornington Peninsula is my absolute favourite place to go in summer – if you’re looking for some of the best beaches and coastlines, look no further! It’s only an hour and a half’s drive from Melbourne city.

Melbourne on Maternity Leave aims to inspire mums and parents to venture outside with kids to explore the best of what nature has to offer, and as a means for mums to stay sane. There’s no better maternity leave hack than getting outside.
I’ll be dropping a video of a place I visit in Melbourne every Wednesday.
